The state government is encouraging the establishment of employment-oriented industries in the region: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that micro, small and medium enterprises are the backbone of Indian economy. Small businesses are providing employment to crores of families. The state government is continuously encouraging the establishment of employment generating industries in the region. Our aim is to establish one crore MSMEs in the region by the year 2047. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises are the backbone of the region’s economy. It is the aim of the state government to give industry to every district, employment to every family and opportunity to every youth. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is emerging as a major economic power in the world. Just like every 12 years one gets an opportunity to bathe in Simhastha, in the same way, since the 12 years of good governance of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the countrymen have got the opportunity to bathe in Amrit. In the last 12 years, the MSME sector has been rejuvenated under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the ‘Prosperous MSME-Developed Madhya Pradesh’ program at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium on Sunday to distribute incentives and benefits to MSME entrepreneurs, start-ups and beneficiaries of other schemes with a single click. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav started the program by lighting it up. The program started with the singing of Vande Mataram. On this occasion, a short film on the activities conducted to promote MSMEs, start-ups in the region was also screened.

  • Chief Minister Dr. Industrial organizations congratulated Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav disbursed over 360 crores of incentives to 900 MSME units with a single click. Also, all dues till 31 March 2026 have been paid. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed assistance of Rs.2 crore 02 lakh to 6 ETP generating units, reimbursement of market fee of Rs.1 crore 07 lakh to units under special package and electricity tariff of Rs.three crore 69 lakh to 11 units with a single click. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also distributed loan amount under Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, land allotment sheet and incentive amount under Startup Policy 2025. On this occasion, Mr. Rajesh Mishra, State President of Lagu Udyog Bharti, Ms. Rashi Bahl Mehra, Founder of Alana Group and Entrepreneur Mr. Kunal Giani shared their experiences regarding setting up enterprises in Madhya Pradesh.   • Over 24 lakh MSME units have provided employment to more than a quarter crore people

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is the leader in the country in terms of entrepreneurship and innovation. More than 24 lakh MSME units in the state provide employment to more than a quarter crore people. In this, more than 4 lakh 41 thousand units are being handled by kaman sisters, this is also an example of women empowerment. The target is to strengthen micro, small and medium enterprises by providing Rs 4,500 crore in the next two and a half years. MSME development, policy is empowering entrepreneurs. Under this, 40 percent on investment, 60 percent incentive to food processing industries and 8 percent additional support is being provided to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and women entrepreneurs.

  • MSME sector is the largest employment generating sector

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that rules have been simplified to provide land at subsidized rates to entrepreneurs to set up industries. 30 new industrial zones and 14 clusters have been approved in the last two and a half years. Also, 1 thousand 63 plots have been allotted to entrepreneurs. The target is to develop 60 new industrial areas and clusters and give over 6 thousand plots of land to new entrepreneurs in the next two and a half years. The aid given by the government is not just a grant, but a medium to accelerate the dreams of entrepreneurs. This will establish new industries, increase production and strengthen the local economy. MSME sector is the largest employment generating sector. This will provide new opportunities to the youth, women and rural entrepreneurs of the region. The products of Madhya Pradesh are no longer reaching the national but international markets. The government is committed to providing global recognition to local enterprises by providing technology, finance and necessary guidance.

  • Madhya Pradesh was awarded the “Leader” category in the start-up ranking

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the startups of Madhya Pradesh are making their mark across the country today. The number of start-ups in the region has exceeded 7 thousand 400, in which almost 50 percent of the more than 3 thousand 400 start-ups are led by our sisters. Over 1,630 crores of loans have been provided to more than 23 thousand 500 youths in the last two and a half years under the Chief Minister’s Udyam Kranti Yojana for Start-ups. Madhya Pradesh has been honored with the “Leader” category in the Startup Ranking. Our resolution is to have at least one incubation center in every district of the state. Co-working spaces will be set up in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Ujjain on a subsidized ‘plug-and-play’ model.

  • Young entrepreneurs of the region are gaining global recognition due to the holding policies of the state government

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Shri Chetanya Kumar Kashyap said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has worked tirelessly in the last two and a half years to keep the region ahead in industrial development. He is interacting with all classes of entrepreneurs in different districts of the region. There has been unprecedented development in the MSME sector in the region. The share of agriculture in the GDP of the state was 40 percent and industry was 19 percent. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has resolved to change it, Madhya Pradesh is changing under his leadership. Industrial activities are expanding in the region. As a result of the handholding policies of the state government, the young entrepreneurs of the region are making their mark at the national and global level.

  • At least one MSMI center will be developed in all the Vidhan Sabhas of the state

Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department Mr. Raghavendra Singh while highlighting the achievements of the last two and a half years said that 3 thousand 723 crores has been given to 6 thousand 136 SSME entrepreneurs in the region in the last two and a half years as investment assistance. In the two and a half years before that, only an amount of 1245 crores was provided. The new industrial policy of the region is strong, transparent and industry friendly. Over 1000 plots have been allotted to entrepreneurs in the last one year. 44 new industrial zones and clusters are proposed in the state. In the next two and a half years, 30 new clusters and 20 new common facilities will be developed in the state. 5000 new plots will be allotted to industries in the next two and a half to three years. It is the intention of the Government that at least one MSMI center will be developed in all the Vidhan Sabhas of the state. So far 76 seats have been marked for this.

State President of Lagu Udyog Bharti Mr. Rajesh Mishra said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has accelerated industrial development in the state in the last two and a half years. The state government is helping the entrepreneurs with full transparency and promptness. The government’s vision is proving to be a boon for entrepreneurs. Ms. Rashi Bahl Mehra, Founder of Startup Alana, shared her experience and said that Alana lip care brand started from Madhya Pradesh was not easy to recognize, today our group is supplying its products in India and abroad. This would not have been possible without the guidance and support of the state government. Madhya Pradesh is now becoming the center of women led business.

  • Starting with a foam manufacturing unit in Bhopal, the industrial unit is now being set up in the UK

Mr. Kunal Giani, Managing Director of Sarawa Foam Industries said that we started with a small foam manufacturing unit in Bhopal. Today we have units in 5 states of the country and now one unit is going to be opened in UK as well. Cost of running an industry is lowest in Madhya Pradesh. In the manufacturing sector, the whole world is watching India with hopeful eyes.

  • Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed the benefit

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav presented loan amount checks to Mr. Ravi Bobde and Smt. Rekha Verma of Indore and Mr. Sudhir Kumar Sharma and Mohammad Shiffer of Bhopal under the Chief Minister’s Enterprise Kranti Yojana. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav presented letters of intent for allotment of land to Mrs. Jayshree Rakwar of Niwadi, Mrs. Bharti Chaudhary and Mr. Ramprasad Ladia of Katni and Mr. Nagesh Singh Narwaria of Anuppur. Land allotment order was granted to Shri Sagar Jamra of Niwadi. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav under Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy-2025 Ms. Aarti Matani Founder of Airy Rides Pvt Ltd Indore, Shri Arihant Arya of Glafix Industries Pvt Ltd Bhopal, Konark Agro. Mr. Saurabh Goswami of Solutions Bhopal and Service Jet Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Dinesh Chandwani of Bhopal was awarded the grant. A large number of representatives of industry organizations, officials of banking institutions, investors, startup founders, young entrepreneurs and beneficiaries from different parts of the region were present in the program.
