In response to the urgent resolution of public concerns received under Good Governance Festival 2026, the Public Health Engineering Department has effectively repaired and re-started a defunct hand pump in Karrabhauna village.
Mr. Vijay Kumar Chauhan, a resident of Karrabhauna village in Basna development block, submitted an application through applicant number 26144573900101 for the repair of a defunct hand pump in Ward No. 6 of Karrabhauna, a dependent village of Gram Panchayat Kumhari. Upon receiving the application, the Public Health Engineering Department took the matter seriously and initiated necessary action. The department’s technical team inspected the site and carried out the necessary repairs. The hand pump was fully repaired and operational on June 9, 2026. This has restored access to clean drinking water for the villagers of the ward. Following the successful resolution of the request, the applicant, Mr. Vijay Kumar Chauhan, was notified. The villagers expressed their gratitude to the Public Health Engineering Department and the district administration for their prompt action.
