Bharatiya Janata Party’s state spokesperson Shatabdi Pandey welcomed the unique initiative of ‘CM Helpline 1076’ and online portal launched by the BJP government of Chhattisgarh for quick resolution of public problems and called it a big and historic step towards “good governance, transparency and accountability” in the state.
BJP State Spokesperson Mrs. Pandey stated that Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai’s government is fully sensitive to the public. Until now, citizens of Chhattisgarh had to run around offices to resolve their complaints, both large and small. However, this new helpline will provide a direct opportunity for ordinary citizens to reach the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. Mrs. Pandey stated that every complaint filed under this helpline will be monitored directly by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, ensuring accountability among government officials and departments. Mrs. Pandey stated that the public’s trust in the previous helpline system had been shaken due to the indifference of officials. Recognizing this public concern, the current BJP government has established a new system that is robust, transparent, and directly controlled by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. Mrs. Pandey expressed confidence that this helpline will empower the last person in the state and make the administrative machinery more accountable and sensitive.
