Good Governance Festival 2026: Divyang Puneet Ram’s face lit up with a smile after receiving a motorized tricycle at a public problem resolution camp.

  • The final urban camp concluded at Ambagarh Chowki, where information on government schemes was provided.

As part of Good Governance Festival 2026, a public problem resolution camp was organized today at the Krishi Mandi Complex, located in the Nagar Panchayat, Ambagarh Chowki. A large number of citizens from Ward Nos. 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 of the Nagar Panchayat participated in the camp. This was the last camp organized in the urban area of ​​the district, where, in addition to resolving public problems, beneficiaries were also provided with benefits from various government schemes.
         Various departments set up stalls at the camp to provide information about the government’s public welfare schemes and benefit eligible beneficiaries. In the same sequence, a motorized tricycle was presented to disabled beneficiary, Mr. Puneet Ram, by public representatives. Upon receiving the tricycle, a smile of joy and satisfaction appeared on his face. He expressed his gratitude to the government and administration, saying that this assistance would greatly facilitate his daily life. This initiative seemed to fulfill the true purpose of Good Governance Festival.
          The camp’s special theme was Clean City, Healthy Life, Responsible Citizens. On this occasion, people were motivated towards cleanliness, health awareness, and civic duties.
           Addressing the camp, Municipal Council President Mr. Anil Manikpuri said that the Chhattisgarh government’s Good Governance Festival 2026 has emerged as an effective medium for direct communication between the government and the public. He said that in keeping with the spirit of the government’s “Good Governance in every village, every door,” the government and administration are organizing camps in villages and cities, ensuring prompt resolution of people’s problems. He added that the camps organized under the campaign are proving extremely beneficial for the common citizens, as they receive services, information, and benefits from various departments under one roof.
            Addressing the program, Collector Mrs. Tulika Prajapati placed special emphasis on cleanliness, in keeping with the camp’s theme. She stated that cleanliness is not just the responsibility of the government or municipal bodies, but is the moral obligation of every citizen. She appealed to citizens to keep their homes, neighborhoods, and public places clean, manage waste properly, and actively participate in the cleanliness campaign. He said that building a healthy society is possible only through a clean environment and the goal of cleanliness can be achieved only through public participation. On the occasion, Collector Mrs. Prajapati also administered the oath of cleanliness to the people present. 
           District President Mr. Punau Ram Fulkaware, Nagar Panchayat Vice President Mr. Pawan Gupta, Councilor Mrs. Ishwari Dhurve, Councilor Mr. Kisun Patel, Councilor Mr. Kashiram Nishad, public representatives Mr. Ashish Dwivedi, Mr. Gulab Goswami along with local public representatives, officers-employees and a large number of citizens were present in the camp.
