- 967 applications received, 137 beneficiaries benefited under various schemes
Under Good Governance Festival-2026, the public problem resolution and solution camp organized at Khairanwapara of Janpad Panchayat Chhuikhadan of Khairgarh, Chhuikhadan, Gandai district, emerged as an effective example of public participation and administrative sensitivity. Villagers from 15 Gram Panchayats of Khairanwapara cluster reached the camp in large numbers and submitted applications related to their demands, complaints and problems. At the stalls set up by various departments, the villagers obtained information about the government schemes and applied for benefits.
The program was inaugurated with the lighting of a lamp by public representatives and officials. Guests then inspected departmental stalls and inquired about the benefits and services being provided to beneficiaries. A total of 967 applications were received at the camp, including 798 demands and 169 complaints. Following the process of resolving the applications, various departments benefited 137 beneficiaries from the schemes.
District Panchayat President Mrs. Priyanka Khamhan Tamrakar stated that Good Governance Festival is becoming an effective medium for disseminating government schemes to the last person. She stated that the government’s intention is to resolve villagers’ problems at the village level and ensure eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of the schemes with ease and transparency. Member of Parliament representative Mr. Khamhan Tamrakar described the Samadhan Camp as a powerful means of establishing direct communication between villagers and the administration and directed officials to expedite the processing of the applications received. Other public representatives also, in their speeches, described Good Governance Festival as an effective platform for quick resolution of the problems of the common people and talked about providing the benefits of government schemes to the eligible beneficiaries.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, symbolic keys were given to 9 beneficiaries and acceptance letters to 7 beneficiaries by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department. Bank loans were distributed to 2 women’s groups under the National Rural Livelihood Mission. 6 nutrition kits and hygiene kits were given to 15 adolescent girls by the Women and Child Development Department. Vegetable mini kits were distributed to 25 beneficiaries by the Horticulture Department and walking sticks were distributed to 3 beneficiaries by the Social Welfare Department.
The camp received 323 applications related to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). Furthermore, 42 applications were received for toilet construction under the Swachh Bharat Mission, 64 under the MNREGA scheme, 38 from the Revenue Department, and 87 from the Food Department. The Panchayat and Rural Development Department received the highest number of applications, with 474. Stalls were set up by various departments, including Panchayat and Rural Development, Revenue, Women and Child Development, Health, Education, Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Food, Electricity, Public Health Engineering, and Labor.
District Panchayat President Mrs. Pushpa Prakash Verma, District Panchayat Member Mr. Donar Singh Bhediya, District Panchayat Member Representative Mr. Vijay Verma, Sarpanch Mr. Prakash Janghel, District Panchayat CEO Mr. Prem Kumar Patel, SDM Mr. Avinash Thakur, District Panchayat CEO Mrs. Keshavri Dewangan, along with officials and employees from various departments and a large number of villagers were present at the event.
