Camp becomes a new ray of hope: Kedarnath assured of treatment worth Rs 5 lakh

Villagers once had to run around offices to avail of government schemes, but now the situation is changing. The “Good Governance Festival” campaign, led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, has brought governance directly to the villages. Its impact is now clearly visible in the lives of villagers.
A similar scene was witnessed at a public problem-solving camp held in Narmadapur village, Mainpat block, Surguja district, where relief and satisfaction were clearly visible on the face of villager Kedarnath Yadav. Kedarnath, who had been considering getting an Ayushman card for years, did not expect that his card would be made in a matter of minutes at the camp in his village.
Kedarnath explains that he initially thought getting an Ayushman card would require traveling to the city, visiting numerous offices, and the process would be cumbersome. Due to a lack of information, he was left without it for a long time. But the “Good Governance Festival” camp allayed his concerns. Upon arriving at the camp, officials completed the process, and his Ayushman card was ready within a short time. Kedarnath’s face lit up with a smile as soon as he received the card. He is now confident that financial constraints will not hinder his treatment in the event of illness.
With the Ayushman Card, Kedarnath and his family will now be able to avail cashless treatment up to ₹5 lakh at listed hospitals. This facility is no less than a safety net for families living in rural areas. Expressing his gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and the district administration, Kedarnath Yadav said that organizing camps in the village to provide benefits of the schemes is a commendable initiative. This has made life easier for the poor and needy.
The state government’s objective is to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of government schemes. Through the ‘Good Governance Festival’ campaign, the administration is reaching out to every village to resolve people’s problems and delivering benefits directly to their homes. This is why villagers’ trust in the government seems to be growing stronger.
