 From struggle to success: Nagesh’s courage finds the wheels of a tricycle

If you have the passion to achieve something, even physical disability can’t stop you. This is exactly what Nagesh Deshmukh, a brave student from Piparchhedi village in Dhamtari district’s development block, has achieved. Nagesh never let his physical disability hinder his studies, but his journey wasn’t easy. Now, thanks to a sensitive government initiative, a tricycle has not only made his difficult journey easier but also given new wings to his dreams. Nagesh has been extremely serious and dedicated to his studies since childhood.
Despite
       limited resources and daily physical difficulties, he never gave up. Every day, he faced a new struggle to get to and from school. Sometimes he had to wait for help from family members, and sometimes he had to endure long distances on his own. Despite this pain and fatigue, his courage remained unshaken, and through hard work, he passed the 11th grade exam with respectable marks. A real change in Nagesh’s life came on May 21st, when

      Samadhan Camp was organized in the village of Peeparchhedi under the Good Governance Festival. Understanding Nagesh’s plight, the administration took prompt action. When Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma handed Nagesh a shiny tricycle, his eyes filled with joy. This tricycle wasn’t just a vehicle, but a new document of self-reliance and self-respect for Nagesh.
      Nagesh Deshmukh said, “Previously, I had a lot of trouble getting around and always had to depend on others. But now, with this tricycle, my journey has become safer and easier. Now, I will be able to complete my further studies on my own, without any obstacles or support from anyone.”
