Good governance express raises hopes of people, benefits of public welfare schemes reaching every village

The “Good Governance Express,” launched with the aim of reaching the government’s public welfare schemes to the last person in the state, has emerged as a major hope for the citizens of rural and remote areas. Through special camps and campaigns organized by the district administration at various locations in Narayanpur district, villagers are now receiving various government certificates, cards, and health care benefits directly in their villages. This initiative is significantly saving people’s time and financial resources. According to
data
received from the district administration, a total of 27,712 applications have been received through the Good Governance Express as of May 25, 2026. Due to the administration’s vigilance, 18,431 of these applications have been successfully resolved, while the remaining 9,281 applications are currently under process. In many cases, prompt resolution is being provided at the camp site, providing immediate relief to the villagers.
Numerous facilities available under one roof:
For the convenience of citizens, the Good Governance Express camps have consolidated services from various departments. To date, 10,682 Aadhaar cards have been updated with MBU (Mandatory Biometric Update), and 2,601 new and revised ones have been issued.

Similarly, 4,068 Ayushman cards have been issued, and 1,524 citizens have received health-related services. 3,795 applications related to Election Form-6 have been processed at the camps. 816 birth and death certificates, 737 ration cards, and 818 new bank accounts have been opened. 282 PM Samman Nidhi cases have been resolved. Essential services such as Kisan Credit Cards ( KCC ), loan books, agricultural equipment, PM Kisan Yojana benefits, and e-KYC are also being provided to farmers on the spot.

Special Focus on Forest Areas and Remote Villages
The administration is paying special attention to areas of the district where residents previously had difficulty reaching the district headquarters or government offices. Currently, camps are being organized regularly in remote forest villages, including Adnar, Bamhni, Kutul, Gudari, Aamasara, Nelwad, Pochawada, Orchha, Malingnar, Bagbeda, Dhurbeda, Koliari, Kachhapal, Badejamhari, and Ghamandi, and several other interior villages.
Changed System, Increased Confidence:
Previously, villagers had to repeatedly visit government offices for basic tasks and certificates, but now those tasks are easily completed near their homes through the Good Governance Express. This transparent and prompt system has not only accelerated the functioning of the administration but has also further strengthened the public’s trust in the government.
