The Mango Festival, organized by the Raipur Press Club on Monday, concluded amid enthusiasm and dignity. The program was inaugurated by State Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam. Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam said that mango is special to everyone. It is not only the king of fruits, but is also a favorite of people from all walks of life and a part of our culture.
Chief guest Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, in his address, said that mango is special to everyone. It is not only the king of fruits, but also a favorite of people from all walks of life and a part of our culture. Mango is also a symbol of the hard work of farmers and nature’s precious gift. He said that Chhattisgarh has immense potential for horticultural crops and the state government is continuously making efforts to increase farmers’ income. He praised the role of journalists, saying that in a democracy, the media acts as a strong bridge between society and government.

Raipur Press Club President Mohan Tiwari, while welcoming the guests and fellow journalists, said that the Press Club is not just an organization, but a family of journalists. He said that such events strengthen mutual brotherhood, dialogue, and harmony among journalists. Amidst busy schedules, such events provide an opportunity to meet each other and share experiences. He also expressed his gratitude to all the members who contributed to making the event a success. Raipur Press Club President Mohan Tiwari, senior journalist Ramavtar Tiwari, club officials, senior and young journalists were present in large numbers on this occasion. An atmosphere of warmth, harmony, and dialogue was visible throughout the event.
On this occasion, senior journalist Ramavtar Tiwari, in his address, said that journalism is not just a medium for reporting news, but also a responsibility to guide society in the right direction. Emphasizing the importance of impartial, factual, and responsible journalism, he said that in changing times, journalists must prioritize public interest while maintaining their credibility. He urged young journalists to practice journalism with continuous study, sensitivity, and honesty.

The festival featured delicious mango varieties, mango panna, mango kulfi, and other delicacies. Cultural performances and heartfelt conversations made the event memorable. Journalists met and discussed current topics, praising the event.
At the end of the program, all the guests and journalists appreciated this initiative of Raipur Press Club.
