 690 applications received in Ambagarh Chowki for Good Governance Festival

  • Under the Good Governance Festival, a camp was organized to solve the problems of urban wards.

Under Sushasan Tihar 2026, a Sushasan Tihar camp was organized for the residents of the urban area in the town hall of Nagar Panchayat Ambagarh Chowki of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki district. A large number of citizens from ward numbers 05, 06, 07, 08 and 09 participated in the camp and submitted applications regarding their demands and complaints. In the camp, the process of quick resolution was started by receiving the applications on the spot by the officials of various departments. A total of 690 applications related to demands and complaints were received in the camp.

Through Good Governance Festival, citizens were informed about the government’s public welfare schemes and applications were received for quality resolution of their problems. Students who excelled in the 10th and 12th grades were also honored at the camp. During the program, various beneficiaries were benefited by distributing materials, sanction orders, and certificates under government schemes.

       In his address, Municipal Council President Ambagarh Chowki stated that the objective of Good Governance Festival is to ensure that government schemes reach the last person and ensure prompt and transparent resolution of public problems. He added that through these camps, people are able to access services from various departments under one roof, providing relief to the public. He urged citizens to take maximum advantage of government schemes.

         Collector Mrs. Tulika Prajapati, while instructing the officers and employees present in the camp, said that it should be ensured that all the applications received in the camp are resolved in a quality manner and within the time limit. She said that the purpose of Good Governance Festival is not only to receive applications but also to provide effective solutions to the problems. In the camp, the officers of Revenue Department, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Education Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Public Works Department, Water Resources Department, Agriculture Department, Horticulture Department, Electricity Department, Cooperative Department, Health Department, Transport Department, Forest Department, Fisheries Department and Food Department gave information about the departmental schemes and provided guidance to the eligible beneficiaries.

        Municipal Council President Mr. Anil Manikpuri, councilors, local public representatives, officers-employees and a large number of ward residents were present in the program.
