Sukma district witnessed a sensitive aspect of Sushasan Tihar 2026, organized to disseminate the public welfare policies of the Chhattisgarh government to the people. In special camps organized in Hamirgarh, Jaimer, and Permaras villages under Chhindgarh development block of Sukma district, the administration personally reached the doorsteps of the villagers. During these camps, not only were problems resolved promptly, but the villagers were also given detailed information about various government schemes. The villagers wholeheartedly praised the administration’s doorstep initiative.
- Sensitivity when officials sit on the ground among the villagers
The administration’s human face was revealed in the camps in Jaimer and Permaras when Collector Mr. Amit Kumar, District Panchayat CEO Mr. Mukund Thakur, and other senior officials, without any protocol, set up a chaupal under a tree and sat among the villagers. The officials engaged in cordial dialogue with the villagers, listening to their on-the-ground problems and suggestions.

The Collector reviewed the progress of key schemes through the Chaupal, primarily the status of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the Jal Jeevan Mission. He inquired about ration distribution and the quality of Anganwadi services. He also inquired from villagers about agricultural AgriStake registration, paddy procurement at the support price, and bonus payments.
- Relief from on-the-spot resolution

During the camp, applications were processed promptly at stalls set up by various departments. A large number of beneficiaries were provided the following benefits on the spot. The Revenue Department processed name transfers, partitions, and demarcations, and provided income, caste, residence, birth-death, and marriage registration certificates on the spot. Ration cards and job cards were upgraded and distributed.
- Commitment to good governance
The Collector gave strict instructions to the officials to ensure that every application received at the camp is resolved within the stipulated time. He stated that the primary objective of Good Governance Festival is to effectively deliver the benefits of government schemes to the last person. SDM Mr. P.V.
