Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that today is a significant day in the history of Indian democracy. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Lok Sabha has begun discussing the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, the biggest decision of the 21st century. The Nari Shakti Vandan Act will prove to be a milestone in the political and social empowerment of women. Women are not only the creators of the universe, but also the true architects of a nation’s progress. When we envision a developed India, the strengths, struggles, and success stories of half the population are clearly visible at its foundation. The Nari Shakti Vandan Act is a revolutionary step toward constitutional recognition of this strength and opening new doors of leadership for women in democratic institutions. Prime Minister Shri Modi is paying equal attention to the socio-economic upliftment of the country’s citizens as well as infrastructure development. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a program organized in Seoni-Malwa, Narmadapuram district, to mark the groundbreaking ceremony for the upgradation and reconstruction of the 72-kilometer-long Narmadapuram-Timarni State Highway-67, costing over 972 crore rupees. Public Works Minister and Narmadapuram in-charge Mr. Rakesh Singh was specially present at the program.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 50 percent of the seats in local body and urban body elections in the state are already reserved for women. The state government is committed to the welfare of women and fulfills its promises. More than 55 thousand crore rupees have been given to more than 1.25 crore Ladli sisters of the state so far. Since the inception of the Ladli Behna Yojana, more than 40 thousand 500 rupees per sister has been deposited in their bank accounts. Sisters, do not worry; the amount of the scheme has been increased to 1500 rupees and whatever possible will be done in the future.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the state government is dedicatedly working for the welfare of all sections of society. For the first time in the state, free milk packets will be distributed to children in government schools under the “Mata Yashoda Yojana.” Our children will become mentally and physically healthy. The “Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana” has been launched to increase milk production and encourage cow rearing in the state. This will help our brothers and sisters become self-reliant. The state government has launched the Rahveer Yojana to help the injured on the road during difficult times, under which an incentive of 25,000 rupees is provided to those who take the injured to the hospital. Air ambulances are also being operated to help the poor and needy during difficult times.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Narmadapuram district is full of diversity, encompassing agriculture, tourism, industry, wildlife, and tribal areas. A cabinet meeting was held in Pachmarhi in the name of Raja Bhabhut Singh. Narmada Lok is also being built in Narmadapuram. Various activities are being carried out for the development of industry and agriculture in Narmadapuram. Keeping in mind that roads are the foundation of development, several road projects are underway in Narmadapuram district. He said that Seoni Malwa is receiving development projects worth over Rs 1,000 crore. This includes the groundbreaking ceremony for the upgrading and reconstruction of the 72-kilometer-long Narmadapuram-Timarni State Highway 67, costing over Rs 972 crore. This is not just a road; it will facilitate direct access to Indore and Ujjain. This state highway will usher in a new era for Seoni-Malwa, and the entire region will benefit from connectivity. This road has ushered in the dawn of development in Seoni-Malwa. Along with the state highway, Seoni-Malwa has received the gift of 96 development works worth 106 crore 30 lakh rupees. This includes the inauguration of 45 development works worth 48 crore 61 lakh rupees, and the groundbreaking ceremony for 51 development works worth 57 crore 69 lakh rupees.
- Major announcements of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the development of an irrigation project in Hathnapur village on the Narmada River’s Amli Ghat. This project will benefit more than 10,000 farmers in 40 villages in the area. The Chief Minister announced the release of funds from a special fund for the development of basic infrastructure such as roads, sewage, electricity, and water in the Seoni-Malwa Municipality. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the approval of the Seoni-Malwa-Shivpur Bawari main road, the construction of the Pipalpura bridge, and the construction of additional classrooms in government schools in Banapura. He also announced a survey for Sandipani schools in Shivpur and Dolpur and the approval of a school.

Speaking at the event, Public Works Minister and Narmadapuram District In-charge, Mr. Rakesh Singh, said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has provided numerous development opportunities to every district in the state. Seoni-Malwa is an agriculturally prosperous region. In the last two years alone, Seoni-Malwa has received roads worth ₹984 crore. The state government held a historic Regional Industry Conclave in Narmadapuram district, which received unprecedented investment. The Public Works Department is constructing quality roads. MLA Shri Premshankar Verma said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Seoni-Malwa is receiving a continuous stream of development projects. Farmers in the region are benefiting from the expansion of road networks and improved irrigation facilities. As a result of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s initiative, Indian Oil is establishing a new plant in Dolriya, which will provide employment to the youth of Narmadapuram. MLA Shri Verma requested the development of facilities for pilgrims at Aavli Ghat and the development of a plan to prevent sewage from Seoni-Malwa city from entering the river.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached the city’s famous Dakshin Mukhi Hanuman Temple and performed ritualistic worship of Lord Shri Ram and Lord Bajrangbali, and began the road show from there. During the road show, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav greeted the people of the area. The city residents showered flowers on the Chief Minister.
The road show began at the Dakshinmukhi Hanuman Temple at Harda Naka and passed through the Forest Department office, Govardhan Temple Chowk, Kallu Chowk, Reva Complex, Narmada Temple Chowk, Gandhi Chowk, Jai Stambh Chowk, Municipal Corporation office, Mosque, and Kandeli River Bridge, culminating at the old bus stand. Various social and business organizations offered fruits, sweets, cashews, raisins, and laddus to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav upon his arrival in the city. A large number of citizens were eager to see their Chief Minister during the road show. The Pensioners’ Association, Women’s Self-Help Groups, Rathore Samaj, Panchayat Secretary and Deputy Secretary Association, Safai Kamgar Sangh, all councilors, and all business associations, including the Private School Association, Vanshkar Samaj, and Shri Nishad Samaj, welcomed the Chief Minister.
